The Chameleon Guitar blends a traditional acoustic with digital capabilities. Developed at the MIT Media Labs by Amit Zoran this instrument combines a wooden resonator and a computer processor to create a wonderful new instrument. With the custom software create for this project the user can specify exactly how big they want the resonating chamber to be, thus creating a specific sound. The user can also easily switch out the wooden resonator with a different resonator made from another type of wood or other material. The possibilities really are endless. See the below video for more information.
